Conference season?

Funny how work comes in "waves". I've done more conferences in the last two months than I've done in most of the last year and I've no idea why. After all, the late autumn has traditionally been when I get most of my conference photography bookings.

But of course, I'm not about to complain. I've worked with some lovely companies (and agencies) and the odd night away in nice hotels being fed by my hosts isn't something I'll ever sniff at. Plus I always enjoy the challenges presented by room lighting, my Sony's inability to shoot on silent mode without "banding" in some lighting environments, constantly changing schedules (this hasn't happened much of late), the rush to send over "just a few" edited images before leaving the event, and trying to arrange 50 people on a stage for a group photo while I'm standing on a chair inbetween the delegates. More please!
