They say parents shouldn't have favourite children - does that also go for photographers and their clients? If so, guilty as charged.

Many years ago, I was asked to create some publicity photos for a Warwickshire-based harpist who, it turns out, was as charming as she was photogenic. We've been friends ever since. I've photographed her many times since - cd covers, book covers, harp events, and even her wedding photos. Fran (of Poppy Harp) is now living on the south coast so I do't get to work with her quite as often nowadays but I was delighted to be the official photographer for her brilliant weekend-long "Inspire" harp event in Sussex recently.

I hope to post more from this event (there's so many photos!!) and that will include some portraits that I took of Fran in the beautiful gardens at the venue.
